Wedding Venue in Pretoria at an Affordable PriceAffordable Prices for Romantic South Africa Wedding Venues
Every bride wants her big day, the most special to date – her wedding day – to be absolutely perfect in every way, from her dress, hair, complexion, make-up, accessories and bouquet to her guest list, menu and food, table décor, colour scheme, the weather and venue, to name only some aspects which are really important to her and her groom. Each and every one of these elements costs and has a price which may be unaffordable, excepting the weather, over which one has no control whatever – potentially worrying brides-to-be as the wedding date draws nearer.
Pretoria and Hartbeespoort
Weddings may be quite expensive affairs, so the trick lies in selecting an affordable wedding venue, such as one of our excellent establishments in Pretoria, or a little further afield – in Hartbeespoort, at the foot of the picturesque Magaliesberg Mountains, on the edge of the renowned Hartbeespoort Dam’s waters.
Our Hartbeespoort Villa Paradiso
The latter facility consists of a 60 double-roomed, 4-star hotel, conference centre and country manor type wedding venue, set amongst lovely sub-tropical gardens in an area that’s known for its beauty, warm hospitality, glorious and sunny summer weather and mild winter months.
Our Villa Paradiso in Hartbeespoort is ideal and affordable for members of the wedding party and their guests who’d prefer to stay overnight (or for the weekend) after the celebrations, enjoying a scrumptious breakfast with us the next day, before setting off again.
At Villa Paradiso, we’ve recently built a new state-of-the-art wedding chapel standing above a garden terrace, about midway between the mountain and the dam’s edge. Alternatively, you may prefer an affordable open air wedding in our landscaped gardens, beneath a pretty gazebo which offers an imitable, romantic view of our natural surroundings.
Back in Pretoria, at De Kroon Kamer
In Pretoria, our De Kroon Kamer (the Crown Room) is a prime wedding venue. From the lush indigenous gardens situated high on a hill, De Kroon offers priceless 180 degree views across the Pretoria city landscape. Its atmosphere has a somewhat rustic feel, yet remains eternally romantic.
This view is especially romantic at night when city lights twinkle in the distance like low hanging stars. The romantic ambience actually begins the moment when welcoming drinks are served in adjacent Fort Schanskop, beneath its old bushveld thorn tree, which imparts a sense of South African history and its romance, particularly at night when the thorn tree is subtly and artistically lit.
This enormous venue is situated below the famous Voortrekker Monument and features both a massive outdoor area and a quaint barn style building, both of which can be totally transformed into dreamy, romantic wedding venues, each with its own unique character and characteristics.
For many bridal couples, a wedding venue with an old world feel represents the ultimate in romance. The truth be told – weddings are synonymous with romance.
Here, you’ll not only experience the mood and atmosphere if old world charm and grace, but you’ll be delighted with personal service, elegant and stylish accessories, private rooms (if needed) and delicious food, lovingly prepared by our experienced, talented catering team.
All our wedding venues in Pretoria and Hartbeespoort feature ample, safe and secure parking for guests’ convenience and peace of mind.
We cut our teeth in the catering industry, as it were, prior to establishing our varied function facilities.
This has proved to be of enormous benefit and delight to our and your valued guests, whether you require light meals, snacks and refreshing beverages, buffet style meals or formal fine dining of the highest order.
Each person’s idea of what they find affordable will differ, so we don’t attempt to generalise. Rather than doing so, we approach each client as an individual, with his/her own unique requirements, priorities and budget.
We strive to work with the client, as a partner, arranging their wedding and wedding venue within their specific budget, ensuring that they find the price affordable.
South African Hospitality
We pride ourselves on our hospitality too, especially since warm, welcoming hospitality is a traditional feature of South Africa and its inhabitants, and an aspect of this country and its people which is favourably remarked upon by visitors from abroad to this very day.
In keeping with our South African heritage, South African’s fondness of the outdoors and their appreciation and love of nature, our Pretoria wedding venues are located within sections of a nature reserve and its natural, indigenous vegetation, enhancing the atmosphere of tying the knot in a typically African, romantic environment.
